On the 26th of May 2021 we heard MP Jane Hunt’s excellent speech during a Westminster Hall debate, on making injectable vitamin B12 available over the counter from pharmacies. This finally gave all people with B12 deficiency a voice.

Minister, Nadine Dorries MP, responded to Jane’s speech stating that “We are pushing on an open door..” I’m sure you’ll agree, this is fantastic to hear!
Men and Women are affected by B12 deficiency..
Nadine knows that vitamin B12 deficiency affects both men and women but she sees that there is a great opportunity for more voices to be heard by gathering evidence by responding to the survey on the Women’s Health Strategy.
Please Note: This survey closes on 13th June 2021 so please act now, it takes around 5 minutes to complete. I appreciate that because health is devolved, that this is only asking for women in England to respond, but…
We are not leaving anyone out…
We need to hear all voices and capture all evidence so, if you are male, or if you are female and live outside of England…

Writing to your MP – you can find their email address here: Copy your story to both your own MP and to Jane Hunt, MP – jane.hunt.mp@parliament.uk , so that all of our voices are heard. Jane will collate your evidence and send it onto the relevant devolved offices. To help Jane, please mention which country you live in.

Tell them why you feel it is essential to make injectable B12 available to buy OTC from pharmacies in the UK.

This couldn’t be more important when so many of us are under treat & struggle more than we need to & Brexit has made getting EU B12 supplies all the more difficult.
